I treated the flower stall like a sweet shop and picked my favourites to make a little bouquet for my desk. Beautiful colours in these blooms.

We weren't expecting quite so much snow this weekend but still managed to have a lovely, cosy time in the Cotswolds. It's so good to have a change of scenery once in a while and to take some time just to explore and appreciate good company and good conversation.
I've had the pleasure of working on the wonderful RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the past week and wanted to share some pictures here. First thing in the morning before the show opens, it's the very definition of a Quiet Life. Still. Glittering in the early sunlight. Beautiful. To me, it's so much more than a flower show. The growers, gardeners, designers and BBC production team are all creative, passionate people who care so much about the show and the energy that creates is just magical.
Hello Springtime, my old friend. Suddenly everywhere is covered with blossom : )
Today the sun actually shone and the warmth felt magnificent : )
Pink roses at my local flower stall. My absolute favourites. Nature is clever : )
This little lovely caught my eye as I walked by. It was quivering in the breeze looking absolutely perfect. So much detail in such a little plant. Nature is so clever!
On the way home today, I walked past a lovely flower shop. Instead of buying a bunch I picked out four that I loved and put them together in a little posie. A little something to brighten my desk and my day.
