Karan Kumar Sachdev
My lovely friend reminded me today of a wonderful photograph we saw at the National Portrait Gallery two years ago and I had to share it with you. It's part of Karan Kumar's Sachdev's project Yellow Chair Portraits. It's so completely joyful.
City Walk - Bath
I took a slow stroll around Bath recently and remembered just how beautiful it is. There are so many details to spot on the buildings and pavements. It was such a lovely way to spend a day, almost meditative. I highly recommend taking a camera (or just your phone) and wandering familiar streets with a fresh eye. It's amazing what you find.
Lina Stores
I can't walk past this shop on Brewer Street without taking a photo. It makes me want to buy everything in it.
Playing With The Light
I walked slowly on my commute home and spotted this bit of light in the trees. I love taking photos straight into the sunlight as everyone tells you not to. The effect of the rays on the lens and the warped light can sometimes be really magical.
A Walk In The Woods
Sometimes a walk in the woods is as good as a mini-break. Listening to the trees always makes me think of Enid Blyton's The Enchanted Wood, one of my favourite ever books. And the light through the trees is always magical.
Ed Pavez
Ed's photography videos are as beautifully created as his photos. Ed shares his process as he stealthily captures scenes and finds details that others don't see. Very absorbing.
