I've not had much time to draw this week but I've been looking through my picture book progress to keep on track. It's the first time I've worked on an illustration project of this size and it's a brilliant learning curve. One of the most interesting things I'm finding is the focus on having to be consistent. I suspect that once I finish drafting all of the pictures, I'll have to go back through things to look at consistency several times! Here's a peek at one of my 'sketches' for a little fox character. I'm quite pleased with him but need to work on tidying him up a bit.
